Section 1 — Introduction

Threadpool ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Threadpool platform accessible at goinfluence.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our platform. By creating an account or using Threadpool, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Threadpool is a fashion creator marketplace where clothing brands run pay-per-view campaigns and Instagram creators earn based on the organic view performance of their content. We are operated by an individual based in Coronado, California, United States.

Section 2 — Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: Name and username. Email address and password. Instagram handle and account type (Creator or Business). Instagram follower count. Brand name and brand website URL (for brand accounts). Profile photo and biography. Payment information via Stripe (we do not store card numbers directly — Stripe handles payment data). Content submitted for campaigns including photos and videos.

Information we collect automatically: Log data including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Device information. Usage data such as campaigns viewed, submissions made, and actions taken on the platform.

Information from third parties: From Instagram via their API: your Instagram handle, account type, follower count, and view counts on posts submitted to campaigns. From Stripe: payout status and account verification status.

Section 3 — How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: Create and manage your account. Verify your Instagram account identity and eligibility. Track view counts on submitted Instagram posts to calculate creator earnings. Process payments and payouts via Stripe. Display your public profile to other users. Send notifications about submissions, campaigns, payouts, and platform updates. Enforce our Terms of Service and platform rules. Improve the platform and develop new features. Comply with legal obligations.

Section 4 — Instagram API Data

Threadpool uses Meta's Instagram Basic Display API and Instagram Graph API to: Verify that a creator's Instagram account is real and active. Pull follower count to display on creator profiles. Track view counts on Instagram posts submitted to campaigns. Verify that submitted posts belong to the creator's connected account. Detect if a tracked post has been deleted or made private.

We access only the minimum Instagram data necessary to operate the platform. We do not access your Instagram direct messages, contacts, or any data beyond what is explicitly listed above. Our use of Instagram data complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Section 5 — How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

With other users: Your public profile information including username, Instagram handle, follower count, and approved content submissions are visible to other users of the platform according to your privacy settings.

With service providers: We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the platform, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting). These providers are contractually bound to protect your information.

With brands and creators:When a creator submits to a campaign, the brand can see the creator's username, Instagram handle, and follower count. When a brand creates a campaign, their brand name, Instagram handle, and website are visible to creators.

For legal reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Threadpool, our users, or the public.

Business transfers: If Threadpool is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Section 6 — Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes. Campaign data, earnings records, and transaction history may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes.
