Delete Your Threadpool Data

You can delete your Threadpool account yourself at any time. You do not need to contact us, and you do not need to wait.

1. Sign in to Threadpool.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to Danger zone and choose Delete account.
4. Type your username to confirm, then confirm the deletion.

Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone. There is no recovery window and no way for us to restore the account afterwards.

Your profile and login credentials. Your account settings and visibility preferences. Your notifications. Anyone you follow, and your saved campaigns and saved pieces. Your campaign applications. Your profile photo. Your Instagram connection, including the access token we hold for your Instagram account.

Your Instagram access token is also revoked with Meta as part of the deletion, so Threadpool loses its access to your Instagram account at the same time.

Some records are shared with the people you worked with, and deleting your side of them would destroy their side too. These are kept, with your identity removed:

If you are a creator:your approved submissions remain visible to the brands whose campaigns you posted for, as part of those brands' own campaign records. Your name, your profile link and the link to your Instagram post are removed from them. What remains is the post's performance figures, so the brand keeps an accurate record of what a campaign delivered without any route back to you.

If you are a brand: your published campaigns remain visible to the creators who worked on them, so those creators keep their record of work delivered and what they earned for it.

Payout records are retained for financial and tax purposes. These are not linked to a profile once the account is gone.

There are two situations where the button will decline and explain why, rather than deleting.

You are owed money. If you have pending or released earnings that have not been paid out, we will not delete the account while a balance is outstanding, because deleting it would destroy the record of what you are owed. Withdraw your earnings first, then delete. If you would rather delete the account now and forfeit the balance, email us at the address below and say so explicitly.

You have a campaign that is live, scheduled, or has submissions in review. Deleting a brand account mid-campaign would strand the creators posting for it. Wait for the campaign to finish, or contact us.

If you have lost access to your account, or your deletion was refused and you want us to handle it, email support@goinfluence.app from the address on the account, with the subject Data deletion request.

We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days of the request. If we need anything from you to verify that the account is yours, we will ask within that window.

You can remove Threadpool from your Instagram account at any time through Instagram's own settings. Doing so disconnects Instagram from your Threadpool account and revokes our access immediately — but it does not delete your Threadpool account, and it does not delete anything other than the connection itself.
